Training

At Glazers, we believe in recruiting bright and enthusiastic people to our team, so that we can give our clients the highest quality of service. We also recognise that to help our staff reach their full potential, continuous training and development are crucial.

Our approach is recognised by our Investor in People status, awarded to businesses that improve their performance results by making the most of the skills and abilities of their staff.

We also hold the prestigious Platinum Approved Accredited Employer status, the highest training accolade awarded by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Platinum status is only achieved by firms that demonstrate their commitment to providing employees with the best possible support and development in qualifying with ACCA. To achieve the status, we must meet challenging standards on criteria including study support, work experience, supervision, appraisals, training records and continuing development.

As well as ACCA training, we offer our staff training towards qualification with:

  • the Association of Accounting Technicians

  • Association of Tax Technicians

  • and as a Chartered Tax Adviser, with the Chartered Institute of Taxation.

Whichever training route is best for you, you will receive both formal, structured training towards your examinations, which may include block release courses, as well as on the job training, giving you real, hands-on experience while working alongside and learning from qualified colleagues. We will also provide financial support for course fees, study leave and course packs.

We understand that training does not end with qualification, so we support our staff in further developing their skills and knowledge by providing internal courses through Mercia, one of the UK’s largest providers of training to accountants, and external courses focusing on topics specific to individual job roles.

We also provide quarterly in-house seminars to keep our staff informed on all the latest developments in accounting, audit and tax matters.

We advertise our vacancies on the Current Vacancies page of this site and while we cannot guarantee employment opportunities, we are always interested in receiving enquiries from potential new team members, whether you are ready to start your accountancy training, are part-trained or fully qualified. Please email your CV to our Staff Partner Jessie Kho.
