Financial planning at Glazers is provided through our in-house specialist company, Re-Financial Planning Ltd.

As a team of expert financial planners, we are engaged by our clients to improve their financial position and help them achieve their financial objectives.

We are creative and practical in our thinking and our advisers are highly qualified. Re-Financial Planning Ltd. works closely with Glazers so that clients receive a fully integrated financial service. This saves you time and gives you peace of mind in that you know all the angles are covered and that we can give the best technical input in arranging your affairs in the most effective and efficient ways.

We have been recognised for our expertise; in 2004, we were awarded the title SIPP IFA of the Year 2004 - Financial Adviser Life and Pensions Awards - based on the quality of the advice we give and the level of service we offer. In 2005, we came second in the same awards category - we made a note to try harder in 2006. As further evidence of the quality of our advisers and the advice we give, we are often approached by the media and the press for information and objective commentary. We hold the Investors in People Award.

Most of our clients come to us by referral, from professional connections or from our existing clients. We would hope that all our clients are happy to recommend our services.

How we work

When it comes to looking at your financial planning we take four important steps:

1. We get to know you and your current financial circumstances. We look at your existing arrangements, future goals, attitudes and opinions.
   

2. Then we take time to analyse this information often discussing ideas with other members of the advising team.
   

3. We report our recommendations in a clear and understandable manner.
   

4. We implement the agreed strategy and then offer regular reviews to update and modify your plan.

We are happy to work on a fee or commission basis as our clients choose and discuss these options during our initial meeting, which is free of charge and obligation.

Our Advisory Team

David Higgins

David Higgins has been involved in the financial services industry since 1989. During this time he gained a wealth of experience with companies such as HSBC and Abbey National before setting up Re-Financial Planning Ltd. David is a member of the Society of Financial Advisers and a Certified Financial Planner.

Stephen Goldman

Stephen Goldman graduated from the London School of Economics in 1998. He trained as a financial adviser at Zurich Financial Services and has worked at Glazers since September 2002. Stephen is a member of the Life Insurance Association and has advanced qualifications in savings and investments, pension investment options and mortgages. He specialises in mortgages, both commercial and residential, and retirement planning.

Benjamin Gibbs

Benjamin Gibbs studied at the University of Warwick, graduating in 1994. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1998, having trained with Deloitte & Touche, before moving to Chase de Vere Investments and then to Glazers in November last year. He specialises in pensions, business risk management and succession planning and is an Associate of the Society of Financial Advisers. Benjamin is a Certified Financial Planner.

• We give you the choice of working on a fee or commission basis. We prefer to work on a fee basis, so the cost of our advice depends on what you want or need us to do, but we offer a commission alternative if clients would like us to work on this basis. All fees are agreed in advance and fully disclosed.
