Glazers Web Page of the Month - Inheritance Tax Calculator
 |
Continuing our series of useful resources and tools that can be found on the Glazers web site, this month's web page is our Inheritance Tax Calculator - click here.
To get to it from our home page www.glazers.co.uk, go to Online Tools - Resource Centre - Tax Calculators - Inheritance Tax Calculator.
How to Use it - enter your assets and liabilities in the boxes and click 'submit'. The calculator will show you how much tax you can expect to pay, based on the current IHT rate and nil rate band.
Please note that 'Business Assets' are assumed to qualify for 100% Business Property Relief (BPR), so if the assets don't qualify, enter the value in another box. If you are unsure whether your business qualifies for BPR, we'll be pleased to advise you.
The Inheritance Tax Calculator is intended as a general guide only. For specific advice on inheritance tax, please contact our Tax Manager Graham Murray on 020 8458 7427.
We also offer a complete inheritance tax planning service through our in-house financial services division Re-Financial Planning. For a free initial chat about how we can help you plan, please contact our Financial Services Director David Higgins or Marc Stemmer on 020 8458 7427.
