Glazers were the proud recipients of an award at Barnet
Education Business Partnership’s Gold Awards Ceremony
in November. We were recognised for our efforts in helping
to make BEBP an efficient and professionally run charity.
For more than 10 years, whilst Robert Glazer has been the
company’s Finance Director, we have been providing

MortgageCheck is a new service
from Glazers Financial Services, and it works like this. You
complete a simple mortgage questionnaire via our website.
This will then trigger a phone call from us, 3 months before
the end of the fixed or discounted rate, or sooner if requested,
whereby we can recommend the most suitable mortgage out of
the thousands available on the market.
There is no charge for the initial
recommendation, and no obligation to proceed, so you have
absolutely nothing to lose!

| PENSION
CONTRIBUTIONS – TWO IMPORTANT DEADLINES APPROACHING… |

If
you are looking to reduce your income tax bill and make pension
contributions, two important deadlines are looming.
Under the current rules, you can make a personal pension contribution
now, and apply it to the previous tax year, which is particularly
useful if you want to maximise the tax relief you get or maximise
the amount of pension contributions you make. (The pension
contribution must be made before 31 January and be accompanied
by a set of HM Revenue & Customs forms.)
However, this ability to "carry back" a contribution
to a personal pension to a previous tax year is being removed
from 6 April 2006. That means that there are two deadlines
which are fast approaching.
- 31 January 2006 if you want to carry
back contributions to last tax year (2004/ 2005)
- 5 April 2006 for any contributions
for this tax year (2005/ 2006)
